Bermondish is an independent digital magazine dedicated to exploring the food, drink and cultural life of Bermondsey, London. We believe that the heart of a city is found in its neighbourhoods — in the small businesses, creative people and everyday rituals that make them unique.

Our mission is simple: to tell the stories of SE1 with curiosity, care and integrity. From long‑form features on local restaurants and bars to profiles of the people quietly shaping the area’s culture, we celebrate the diversity and dynamism of Bermondsey while offering practical guides for residents and visitors alike.

Founded in 2025 by a collective of writers, photographers and designers who live and work in the neighbourhood, Bermondish is entirely independent. We are ad‑free and reader‑supported via our newsletter and occasional events. Thank you for reading.
